DRESSER MAKEOVER

I love free stuff.
Who doesn't?

We got this "fabulous" dresser (for free!) from my in-law's garage. While it's functional, it was just plain ugly. I've been planning this makeover for a while, and when I found the perfect damask print on some designer wrapping paper, I grabbed a friend and went to work. (Thanks to my friend Suz for helping me modge podge the wrapping paper onto the front of every drawer.)

BEFORE:

Step 1: Remove old hardware.
Step 2: Fill in cracks and holes with putty.
Step 3. Cut strips of wrapping paper down to size and Modge Podge on front of each drawer.
Step 4: Paint Dresser.
Step 5: Beg Husband to put on new handles.
Step 6: Put drawers in dresser and admire your masterpiece.

AFTER:

Yes, this dresser definitely rocks my flip-flops.

A BLOG THAT ROCKS MY FLIP-FLOPS

I'm starting this blog for me.
If no one looks at it, that's fine.
If you do look at it and think all my projects are stupid, that's fine too.
Because this is for me.

Now...
If someone does look at it, that's fine.
If you look at it and find a project you think is totally awesome, that's fine too.
Because this blog can rock your flip-flops too.
