Supplies: wood, tiles, ribbon, (2) 4x6 picture frames, 8x10 picture frame,
horseshoe nails, picture hanging hardware, paint, hot glue gun.
Step 1: Cut wood down to desired size. (For the width I measured the width of each tile, added a 1/4" space inbetween each tile, then added a couple inches for each side. For height I measured the height of the tile plus length I wanted each tile to hang, plus a couple inches at the top, plus enough space at the bottom for text.)
Step 2: Paint wood
Step 3: Beg husband to pound in horshoe nails on the front (I got mine from our local hardware store for 9 cents each) and picture hanging hardware on the back (I used these sawtooth hangers from Walmart).
Step 4: Use Cricut to cut out name in vinyl. Apply Vinyl to tiles.
Step 5: Lay tiles on wood and decide how far down you want them to hang from the nails. Hot glue one side of ribbon, wrap around nail, hold ribbon in place and glue the other side. (I'm sure you could just measure the ribbon the exact length and glue it down, but I wanted to know that it would hang at the perfect length so I did it that way instead.)
Step 6: Determine how far down you want your frames to hang, cut ribbon and glue one end to the back of the wood with tiles and the other end to the back of each picture frame.
Step 7: Add pictures and a bow. Hang on wall and enjoy.
